Freshman Success Overview

Course Description:

University seminar is a one unit pass/fail course designed to acclimate you to university life. By the end of the semester, you should "know the ropes" of the university, have been exposed to strategies for college success, and started to build a peer group.

Course Credit:

You will be evaluated based on your class attendance and participation as well as your attendance at the 3 required resource visits.

An additional resource has been set up for you with the

http://wellness.sdsu.edu - Wellness Workshop Please go to this online resource, enter your name and date of birth and you will be placed in a workshop. You will obtain a certificate once you attend this workshop, that you give to me as evidence of your participation.

Career Services visit meet inside the lobby; the receptionist
will direct you and your students to their classroom.

October 12th – SDSU Library

Library tours meet upstairs, right inside the glass dome. There will be a sign 
that says 'University Seminar Tours'. The tour guide will meet us. (Bruce Harley)
